Instructor Oleksandra Lazorenko is a Ukrainian artist specializing in traditional straw weaving. She studied at Art School in Kamianske, Ukraine, and completed additional training in straw weaving and wickerwork. Since 2004, her work has been featured in group exhibitions of decorative and folk art in museums, cultural centres, and city festivals in Ukraine. Her practice focuses on handmade sculptural works, wall panels, and decorative objects that combine Ukrainian folk traditions with a contemporary approach, exploring cultural memory, spirituality, and the preservation of traditional craft techniques.
