Holodomor 1932–1933: A Genocidal Famine Remembered

Following its powerful premiere last year, the exhibit returns to St. Volodymyr Institute this fall for an extended run.

Marking the 90th anniversary of the Holodomor, this large-format exhibition presents twelve towering panels with authenticated historical photographs, archival documents, and detailed accounts of how the Soviet regime orchestrated a famine that killed millions of Ukrainians. Survivor testimonies and video interviews from the Ukrainian Canadian Research and Documentation Centre (UCRDC) are featured alongside striking projection and multimedia elements.

This immersive exhibit offers an opportunity to reflect on the legacy of the Holodomor and the role of memory in confronting historical injustice.
