At the Ukrainian Museum of Canada - Ontario Branch, artifacts are not just "old things"; they are living expressions of our heritage. Our current exhibition, Making a Museum, invites you to discover Our Stories — those of the Museum’s founders and the pivotal role they played in preserving Ukrainian heritage in Canada. Each artifact in this exhibition, collected over the past eight decades, tells a story of the daily lives of Ukrainians: stories of resilience, celebration, creativity, and survival. They reflect the tireless work of our founders and the ongoing dedication of those who continue to collect and protect the cultural memory of a community committed to preserving its identity.

• February 23 3rd Anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine

• February 28 Donation deadline for 2024 – The Government of Canada has announced their intention to extend the 2024 charitable donation deadline to February 28, 2025. This means that tax receipts for donations made between January 1, 2025 and February 28, 2025 may be eligible to be claimed as charitable tax credits on your 2024 Canadian income tax return. This is a great opportunity to potentially maximize your 2024 tax return while supporting our Museum.
