Welcoming spring at the Museum! 🌱

In Ukraine, March 1 marks the official first day of spring. While Toronto may still have a few snowbanks hanging on, the longer days and melting snow remind us that spring is just around the corner – and that means it’s time for one of the most beautiful Ukrainian Easter traditions: pysanky.

Workshops are $70 per person, 12 and under $50, at St.Volodymyr Institute (620 Spadina Avenue, Toronto). Please register in advance through Eventbrite – space is limited and workshops fill up quickly. Your participation also helps support the Museum, as revenue from workshops and programs contributes to sustaining our conservation work and exhibitions.

BOUTIQUE

Visit the Museum Boutique during workshops or Museum hours to pick up beautiful pysanky handmade by some of our members, or stock up on supplies to make your own. We carry Ukrainian EggCessories pysanka supplies (made in Canada 🇨🇦 !), instructional books, cookbooks for those eager to bake their own paskas, and a variety of spring decor and gift items.
